The FreeReading Prefixes and Suffixes activities are organized into three categories: Introduce, Reintroduce, and Build Mastery. The following is a description of the types of activities you will find within each category:

• Introduce: Students will learn a prefix or suffix and will recognize and generate words that use them.
• Reintroduce: Students will add a prefix or suffix to root words to form new words using a graphic organizer.
• Build Mastery: Students will expand their knowledge of prefixes and suffixes by engaging in a variety of activities.
